Our Venue in Benaroya Hall

Benaroya Hall is Seattle's first facility designed exclusively for concert music performances. Located on an entire city block in downtown Seattle, the Hall serves as a focal point of the city's urban core. Benaroya Hall has two spaces for musical performances: the 2,500-seat S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium and the 540-seat Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall. A 430-space parking garage, accessible from Second Avenue, is housed within Benaroya Hall.

Location

Benaroya Hall is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, directly across 2nd Avenue from the Seattle Art Museum. Benaroya Hall is bounded on the North by Union Street and on the South by University Street; on the East by 3rd Avenue and on the West by 2nd Avenue. The public entrance to Benaroya Hall is on 3rd Avenue.

Directions

Traveling South on I-5:
Take the Union Street exit, West on Union to 3rd Ave. Benaroya Hall is located on 3rd Avenue between Union and University Streets.
Traveling North on I-5:
Take the Seneca Street exit (6th and Seneca) West to 3rd Ave. Turn right onto 3rd, proceed two blocks. Benaroya Hall is located on 3rd Avenue between Union and University Streets.
Traveling South on Aurora (Hwy. 99):
Take the Denny Street exit, keeping to the right which crosses Denny onto Wall Street. Left onto 2nd Avenue, head South approximately 8 blocks. Benaroya Hall is located on 3rd Avenue between Union and University Streets.
Traveling North on Aurora (Hwy. 99):
Take the Seneca Street exit, left onto 1st Avenue, travel one block, then right onto University Street. Two blocks to 3rd Avenue.

Parking

The 430-car underground parking garage at Benaroya Hall provides direct access from the enclosed parking area into Benaroya Hall via stairs and elevators leading to the Boeing Company Gallery. Cars enter the garage off of Second Avenue, just South of Union Street. Event parking is $8.00, although variable and subject to change.

The Benaroya Hall parking garage hours are 6:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday, and 9:00am to 7:00pm. On performance evenings, the Benaroya Hall parking garage remains open for 30 minutes following the conclusion of the performance.

Clearance in the Benaroya Hall parking garage is 6' 8".

Other parking is also available near Benaroya hall at the Washington Mutual Tower Garage (entrance on Seneca between 2nd and 3rd Avenues), in the Cobb Building (entrance on University between 3rd and 4th Avenues) and Puget Sound Plaza Building Garages (entrance on Union between 3rd and 4th Avenues). Event parking in these garages is $6.50, but subject to change.

There are many other garages within a one-block radius of Benaroya Hall, as well as numerous on-street parking spaces.
